HARDEEVILLE,SC-The Sand Sharks baseball game dropped the final game of a three game series to Shawnee State on Wednesday 11-5 at the Richard Gray baseball Complex in Hardeeville. USCB, who won a doubleheader on Tuesday against Shawnee 3-1 and 7-6, saw their over-all record drop to 15-7.

The USCB men’s and women’s golf tournament concluded their trek to the desert finishing the Spring Break Tournament in Primm, NV on Tuesday. Playing in what Head Coach Shane LeBaron called “the most difficult, extreme conditions” he has ever seen at a golf tournament, the Sand Sharks faced horizontal sleet, snow, rain, constant 40 mph winds and a wind chill factor in the 20’s, as the Sand Sharks competed against many of the top NAIA teams in the country.

HARDEEVILLE, SC-The USCB baseball team completed a four game week-end series against Fisher College on Sunday by winning their second doubleheader in consecutive days against the visiting Falcons by scores of 7-4 and 11-8 at the Richard Gray Baseball Complex in Hardeeville. The wins give the Sand Sharks a 13-6 record for the season.

After holding a few highly competitive qualifying rounds the men’s and women’s travel squads for the California Baptist University, Spring Break Collegiate Tournament, being held at the prestigious Prim Valley Golf Club have been decided. The tournament will be held over USCB’s Spring Break, March 8-9th. Playing for the Lady Sand Sharks are Adrianna Saavedra, Kaitlin O’Sullivan, Kelli Nakano, Brittany Cheek, and Jenny Payne. On the Men’s team, Jon Pannone, George Thacker, Chris Lane, Travis Cashion, and Luke McClellan.
