BLUFFTON, SC- USCB Chancellor Dr. Jane Upshaw announced on Friday the hiring of Ty Rietkovich as the new Interim Athletic Director and Head Women’s Softball Coach effective June 16, 2010. Rietkovich is replacing Kim Abbott who resigned effective June 1 to take over the Director of Athletics Development at Columbia International University.

BLUFFTON, SC-After much discussion and budgetary review, USCB has determined that softball will not start Spring 2011 as planned, but will be delayed one more year. The delay means that the first season of Women’s Softball will be Spring 2012, with it’s first freshman class entering Fall 2011.
