LOUISVILLE, KY- The University of South Carolina Beaufort Men's Cross Country team competed at the Southeast Classic in Louisville Kentucky at the EP Tom Sawyer Park, Saturday. Competing against many of the top NAIA Cross Country teams in the country, the Sand Shark men fished 15th in the group competition. Leading USCB was
Nic Tones in of 26:55 to place 44th in the field of 216.
Frank Tinsley was the next Sand Shark across the line in 83rd place in a time of 27:89.
Marshall Meyer and
Stephen Wilson were 97th and 101st in time of 28:09 and 28:13 respectively. Jon Critchlow coming off a case of the flu was the fifth USCB finisher in 33:13, while
John Stanas completed the Sand Shark contingent with of 31:43 placing 197th.
The USCB men will next be in action on November 7th at the Sun Conference Championship in Lake Wales Florida.
