University of South Carolina Beaufort Athletics

LOUISVILLE, KY- The University of  South Carolina Beaufort Lady Sand Sharks Cross Country team competed on Saturday at the Southeast Class at the EP Tom Sawyer park in Louisville Kentucky,  finishing 17th out of a field of 22 teams. Katie Mock and Selena Hutson finished close together with times 21:04 and 21:05 of respectively good for 58^th and 59^th places.

Amy Williams was the third USCB finisher in 114^th place with a time of 22:28. Jessica Brown ran her best race of the season in a time of 23:05 which was good for 127^th place. Caitlin Brady ran with a time of 23:54 good for 139^th place. Kristy Grannan, running her first race since September 26^th crossed the finish line in a time of 24:51 finishing 156^th overall.                                                                                                   

The Lady Sand Sharks will next be in action on November 7^th for the XC Conference Championships.
