Meyer Finishes 18th in the Marathon at Nationals

EDWARDSVILLE, ILL—Marshall Meyer the lone Sand Shark to compete at the 58th Annual Men’s Outdoor Track and Field National Championships completed his first marathon, finishing in 18th place with a time of 2:46:29.00 for the 26 mile course.
Meyer, who is only a freshman at USCB, finished 18:.02.00 behind the first place finisher Trent Waage, a senior from Black Hills State and only five places behind the first Sun Conference finisher, Nick Gehlsen a junior from Embry Riddle.
