Port Saint Lucie, FL ---No. 15 University of South Carolina Beaufort Lady Sand Sharks finish second (314-296 610) at Sun Conference Women's Golf Championships, and hope to make NAIA National tournament. No. 2 ERAU finished ahead of the Sand Sharks by 14 stokes (297- 299 596) to solidify their bid to Nationals. Adrianna Saavedra led the Sand Sharks finishing six over par for the two day tournament (73- 76 149). 

Brittany Cheek (81-73), Kelli Nakano (79- 75), and Sophie Henke (82-72) finished tied for 8th with a 154. Kaitlyn O'Sullivan rounded out the Sand Shark pack finishing tied for 14th with a 158 (81-77). 

Friday, April 23rd the NAIA National ranking for women's golf will be released, the lady Sand Sharks will have to wait till then to learn their season's fait.
