OKATIE, SC-USCB junior Chris Lane finished his summer golf tournament schedule with a win at the Hilton Head Amateur played this past Saturday and Sunday at the par 72 Callawassie Island Club in Okatie. Lane shot a one under par 143 (72, 71) for the 36 whole tournament to win by three shots over Jeff Wong. 

Lane finished tied for 26th in the NAIA National Championships this past May as he and his teammates completed the tournament in fourth place. The Sand Sharks will return all five of their scoring members for the 2010-11 season. USCB will open up their four tournament fall schedule at the USC Aiken Tournament at Kiawah Island, SC on September 5th through the 7th.
