The University of South Carolina Beaufort welcomes Sand Shark fans to the Palmetto Electric Community Room (across from USCB's Hilton Head Gateway Campus on U.S. 278) for an opportunity to meet the 2012 USCB baseball team at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4.
The event will be hosted by Charlie Mitchell, host of Sun City TV's "Between The Lines," and taped for a program to run on Sun City TV from Jan. 16-23.
Chancellor Jane Upshaw will speak about the growth of the USCB athletics department, and athletics director Ty Rietkovich will introduce first-year head coach
Bryan Lewallyn and the 2012 Sand Sharks.
USCB opens its season Jan. 27 with a road game at Brewton-Parker (Ga.) and plays its first home game against Brewton-Parker at 1 p.m. on Jan. 28.
